A NEW term for Bishopstoke Youth theatre gets under way tomorrow in a sparkling new venue.
A major facelift at the Bishopstoke Community Association Centre in Church Road didn't deter the Bishopstoke group of the award-winning Eastleigh Borough Youth Theatre from working around the builders.
Now the centre has been officially opened, the group has a fantastic new venue to create new theatre in.
The group gives 12- to 16-year-olds the chance to explore issues that interest them, while learning about drama in a series of workshops.
The new term starts on Thursday, with the group working towards a performance at the centre later in the year.
Tutor Cheryl Titcombe is keen for the group to expand.
Anyone interested in theatre, enjoying themselves and meeting new people is invited to get in touch.
The 6.30pm to 8pm workshops are staged every Thursday night in the Bishopstoke Community Association Centre. Term fees cost £20.
