NOT only is Jane Chandler a friend in a million - she's now officially the best dressed mate you could hope to have.
The housewife, of Barnes Lane in Sarisbury Green, beat competition from hundreds of other hopefuls to become Britain's Best Dressed Friend in a
national competition.
Little did she know that accounts manager Anna Bull, 34, of Locks Heath, made the nomination after reading about the competition in Prima magazine.
"I nominated her because she wasn't very well at the time and I thought she needed cheering up," said Anna.
"I just thought she deserved the top prize and a bit of pampering.
"She's a great friend and always looks nice, even though she doesn't think so."
The two women met six years ago at a first-time mums' group.
Mum-of-one Jane said: "I can't believe I won this as I never win anything."
Now the pair are looking forward to being treated to a complete makeover, a night out at the Prima High Street Fashion Awards and staying at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel, all courtesy of competition sponsors Ariel and Prima.
