CHILDREN will feel like they are the kings and queens of the jungle at a new African-themed playground near Winchester.
Marwell Hotel in Colden Common has unveiled the latest addition to its facilities in the form of a children's playground.
The outdoor activity area is in keeping with Marwell Zoo's African theme and enables children to clamber over safari netting accompanied by distant sounds of the monkeys & tigers next door.
J'hymani Joseph, one of the children who tested the playground, said: "It's wicked, it's got really cool wobbly walkways and a tower where we pretend to hide from the tigers!"
The playground features lots of hiding places, nets and moving walkways for the younger children. It has a natural look so it blends into the surrounding parkland.
