Fareham Hockey Club has been presented with a prestigious annual cup that recognises sporting achievements on and off the field.
Club representative Tony Babb was handed the Toon Cup by Fareham mayor Marian Ellerton at a ceremony.
The club has taken great strides forward in encouraging and developing young sports stars of the future.
David Brocklebank, club secretary, said: "We are delighted to win the Toon Cup.
"For the last ten years we have had a very strong youth policy in the club. We have been coaching in local schools and we run regular coaching sessions at Henry Cort Community School on Friday nights."
