RIVA Dyer, a 13-year-old schoolgirl from Swanmore College of Technology, has had a very successful and hectic couple of days.

On Friday August 2nd she was at Stoneleigh, where she won the Trailblazers Preliminary Championships on her four-year-old Dutch Warmblood Sondrio and came third on her dressage pony, Kazzbrook Nikki, in the Novice section.

Riva (pictured) then went on to the Dressage Under 21s Championships at Addington in Bucks, where she won the young horse class and the preliminary Championship on Sondrio and she also won the novice class on Nikki, as well as being placed second in the Elementary class with her highest scores of 75 per cent.

It was then on to Kingston Maurward College, where she won the British Young Riders Dressage Scheme (BYRDS) Talent Spotting Regional competition on Nikki with 77.9 per cent. The final will be held at Addington in October.

Riva trains with Liz Diegutis and Adam Kemp and has high hopes of going to the top.
