A SOUTHAMPTON woman could be on her way to the USA after being short-listed for a national award.
Rhian Waller, 24, of Radcliffe Road, Northam, had to submit an article on any scientific or science-related subject, which had to be no longer than 700 words, in order to enter the BASF Science Writer Awards, which are now in their 16th year.
If successful, not only will she win the chance for her article to be published but she will also win a week-long trip to Seattle, USA, to attend the American Association for the Advancement of Science's 2004 meeting.
