THE late sun on the abbey walls provided our Parisian backdrop for this tale of cross-Channel love and missing diamonds.
Fights direction by Daniel Llewellyn-Williams was an outstanding feature of the production, with breathtaking battles.
This was a terrific piece of direction from Andrew Bumfrey, realising both the humour and the pathos of the piece.
The use of space was crisp and accurate. The cardinal (Philip Amor) was perfect as the villain while Alex Daniels's Porthos was delightfully comic and well-timed.
This was a universally powerful cast.
The lighting was subtle and haunting and the audio design was magical.
