RESIDENTS in Southampton will have the World Wide Web at their fingertips, thanks to the launch of a new cyber cafe in Thornhill.
The facility has been funded by the government's UK Online initiative and the Thornhill New Deal for Communities and aims to offer local people access to
computers and the Internet in informal surroundings with support from staff.
The venue was officially opened at the Eastpoint Centre in Burgoyne Road yesterday followed by a light finger buffet for guests.
