VETERAN rock idol Bob Geldof is one of the stars of Eastleigh Summer Music Festival - and you could see his concert for free.

Live Aid founder Geldof, pictured, will be at The Big Top, Leigh Road Recreation Ground, on Tuesday, July 29, for the the festival's opening concert.

We have two pairs of tickets for the concert which will also feature Jamie Moses, guitarist with Los Pacaminos.

The festival, which runs until August 3, features several other top names including TV favourite Rolf Harris, The Drifters, The Levellers, Dr Hook, and an Abba tribute band.

Headliner Jools Holland will be performing at Manor Farm Country Park on July 31.

Each day there will also be free world music concerts at lunch time as well as family entertainers in the afternoon. A craft fair and food fair will also contribute to the fun.

To win a pair of tickets to see Bob Geldof simply answer this question:

Send your answer on a postcard to Eastleigh Festival Competition, Sally Churchward, Southern Daily Echo, Newspaper House, Test Lane, Redbridge, Southampton, SO16 9JX, by Friday, July 18.
