A NATIONWIDE employee is set to fulfil her lifelong ambition to work with animals by spending three months in Shamwari Game Reserve.
Jenny Best, aged 28, of Kingston Close in Andover will be jetting off to South Africa at the end of September to help out as a student volunteer.
"I have always had a passion for animals. When I was at school I did my work experience at a veterinary surgery and I'm always going to Marwell Zoo," said Jenny.
This life changing trip will give Jenny the experience she needs to start working with animals when she returns home.
"I think I am going to be overwhelmed as it is a lifelong ambition and I want to see some wild animals," said Jenny.
As a volunteer Jenny will be helping out in a African rescue centre and conservation.
She has sold her car, held raffles and bear naming competition to help raise £3,700 for her accommodation and transport.
On Monday she will holding a fashion show at Landale Wilson Hall in Enham Alamein, Andover with clothes from high street shops like Next, Top Shop and Marks and Spencer to help raise money.
