PUPILS from Oaklands School in Lordshill, Southampton, teamed up with Tauntons College students to make their own pop videos.
The teenagers were asked to create a video for an imaginary band and record label. They were also given a piece of music and asked to design a CD cover as well as dream up a name for the group.
The group of Oaklands pupils then showed off their work to parents.
Co-ordinator Sue Castle said: "The purpose of the event is to raise our students' aspirations so that they seriously consider further education as an option after school.
"I was involved in a similar event last year and the students involved still talk about."
