GET networking is the message from the Solent Enterprise Hub (SEH), which is part of an award-winning network of focal points for innovation and entrepreneurial activity in a growing number of locations across the region.
The Solent Enterprise Hub has four locations - Havant, Gosport, Portsmouth and Fareham.
A spokesman said: "One of the major advantages of being located in one of the Solent Enterprise Hub business incubators is access to a rolling programme of networking events that are organised to introduce companies to and create relationships with major banks, business angels and venture capital sources." Working together with the hub directors and many local partner organisations, start-up companies are connected to the appropriate experts and funding sources.
"These regular networking events focus on current business issues and lean towards professional advice on early stage finance and relevant government funding."
Hub director Arthur Monks said: "The regular networking events are organised to give entrepreneurs the chance to liaise with like-minded start up companies and benefit from the experience and professional help of the hub's commercial business partners - Grant Thornton, HSBC, IBM and Blake Lapthorn solicitors.
"The aim is to provide each company with the best possible start and to ensure that it becomes a thriving success."
