ISLE of Wight police have launched an appeal for the driver who they believe knocked down a 77-year-old woman in broad daylight to come forward.
Ryde Police are appealing for witnesses after the elderly pedestrian was in an accident with a silver-coloured vehicle as she crossed St Thomas' Street, Ryde on Tuesday, June 10. The woman was taken to hospital with severe bruising to her hips and legs.Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is urged to contact Sgt Jones at Ryde police on 0845 045 45 45.
