BRITAIN'S armed forces in the Middle East can enjoy even more fresh food thanks to a Southampton container company.
Pentalver, based at the city docks, has just completed its contract to supply the Ministry of Defence with 200 specialised field refrigeration units.
Managing director Brian Tattersall handed over the 200th unit to officials based at the ministry's logistics headquarters at Andover.
The refrigeration equipment is now widely deployed in the Middle East in support of the armed forces.
Mr Tattersall extended thanks to his staff and the installation engineers from Carrier Transicold, the fabrications team from Waterside Installations.
Of equal importance was the support and encouragement for the project by the personnel from the Defence Rail Executive at Andover.
