International stars Angus Maclean and Lucy Elliott both chalked up impressive victories in the sixth race in the Road Runners Ten series.
Maclean came home around 45 metres in front of New Forest's Lee Rodriguez, who was RR10 champion in 2001.
But it looks like Rodriguez is returning to top form as he reduced the distance between the two runners - who were one and two in the second event of the season - by a huge margin.
Veteran Elliott, who normally runs under the Shaftesbury & Barnet AC banner, won the women's race by a huge margin.
The Southampton-born athlete recorded her first official finish in an RR10 event, turning out for Southampton Running Club.
Six different women have now won the ladies' individual races in as many races.
Bev Edwards of Winchester could only manage fifth place this time out but still tops the women's individual league.
Team Solent maintained their improved turnout and won both the team races.
New Forest Runners' men still head the overall table and Winchester & District are still sitting pretty at the top of the women's team placings.
The next event is on Wednesday, July 2 at Dibden Inclosure in the New Forest - just off the A326 - (7.30pm) and is organised by Hardley Runners.
