HAMPSHIRE tennis international James Chaudry was due to get the opportunity of a lifetime next Saturday when he takes part in an exhibition at Wimbledon on Centre Court.
The 12-year-old Mountbatten schoolboy will be playing on the most famous tennis venue in the world prior to that day's Wimbledon matches.
He has been selected as one of the top four in his age group in the country.
Mum Rosie said: "He is absolutely thrilled to be taking part and it should be a great day. It will be a great experience and a real day to remember. I'm sure he will be hoping to see his tennis hero, Andre Agassi."
Chaudry was recently called up to the Great Britain squad to face Holland and after Wimbledon he is also soon due to play in an international tournament in Madrid.
The North Baddesley youngster is a member of the Abbey tennis club in Romsey and the Winchester tennis club and he also trains regularly at the indoor tennis centre at David Lloyd Leisure, Southampton.
He is coached by county performance officer Mike Booth.
