HAVANT & Waterlooville have already captured former Bournemouth marksman David Town to complement the sharpest shooter in the Dr Martens Premier Division.
But with doubts hanging over the future of London-based frontman Warren Haughton at Westleigh Park, the ambitious Hawks are committed to getting another striker on board as they plot their push for the Conference.

Co-manager Mick Jenkins is staying tight-lipped for the moment, but has confirmed it won't be former Pompey frontrunner Luke Nightingale or Stafford Browne, who has been released from Aldershot Town.
Hawks are also getting closer to signing a goalkeeper to replace the departed Aaron Kerr. Possible candidates include Darryl Flahavan, released by Southend, and Chris Tardif, who played eight games for them on loan from Portsmouth in the 1999/2000 season.
Premiership newcomers Portsmouth top the bill for H&W's pre-season fixtures. Harry Redknapp is expected to try out his full first team at Westleigh Park on Tuesday, July 22 (7.45).
It further cements the bond between the two clubs now that Pompey have arranged to play their Premier Reserve League fixtures on Hawks' soil next season.
Jenkins is also buddies with Southampton reserve boss Steve Wigley from their playing days together at Bognor and Saints have agreed a friendly visit on Thursday, August 7.
Hawks are switching their reserves from the Capital League to the Suburban League next season.
They join AFC Wimbledon as new additions to the Southern Division of the London area set-up.
Salisbury City are in negotiations with the pop group Mis-Teeq for a proposed concert at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Friday, August 15.
