CRAFTSMAN Samuel Masih from India spent some time at the Weyhill fairground site this week where he met woodturners John Davis and Ron Caddy.
Samuel was being hosted in the area by Tearfund Co-ordinator Helen Carter on the first part of his trip to the UK.
He manages Noah's Ark, a craft emporium in India that gives fair wages and good working conditions to local artisans.
They specialise in brass enamelware and wrought iron work, traditional skills that are passed down from generation to generation.
Here in the UK Ron and John turn English and Australian woods.
The craftsmen met at the new fairground craft centre at Weyhill where a fair-trade unit selling Ron and John's wood turned gifts and Samuel's brassware will open in September.
