THE Harry Potter phenomenon rumbled on this week when a Dumbledore lookalike visited the Chantry Centre in Andover. 'Dumbledare' arrived in town a week before the launch of the fifth book in the series - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
He was highlighting the wealth of Harry Potter merchandise available from shops in the centre including playing cards and Rubik cubes from Indulgence, the famous Harry Potter glasses from Hoggasaurus, DVD and videos of the first two films from MVC.
Harry Potter fans will be able to buy copies of the new tome from Hammicks, who will be opening on tomorrow's launch day at 7.30am and will be getting into the spirit of the occasion with in-store competitions, fancy dress and a magician from 9am.
The book will also be available in County Books as well as Waitrose and Tesco.
Centre manager Joe Azzopardi said: "The Harry Potter phenomenon continues to grip bookworms. We hope they will return to the centre tomorrow to snap up a copy of the new book."
