Hampshire women are setting a hot pace in this week's inter-county golf regional qualifying round at Royal Winchester.
They opened up with a 7.5-1.5 victory over Oxfordshire on Monday, then toppled Buckinghamshire 7-2 the following day.
Hertfordshire, their biggest rivals, trimmed Bucks 6.5-2.5 but slipped up against Berkshire, only managing a 4.5-4.5 half after going down 2-1 in the morning foursomes.
Hampshire were in action against Berks today and tomorrow round off with what promises to be the decisive match against Herts.
The winners of this week's group go through to the South Zone final later this month.
