SOUTHAMPTON diver Pete Waterfield rounded off his FINA Grand Prix season in fine fashion in the series Super Final in Mexico.
The Commonwealth Games gold medallist took silver in the men's 10m Synchro along with Sheffield's Leon Taylor.
Entry to the meet was by invitation only. After nine previous rounds of the Grand Prix series, the divers had to be ranked in the top eight of an individual event or top four of a synchro event to make it to the Super Final.
Waterfield and Taylor contested one of the closest finals of the two-day meet with just four points separating the top three finishers.
The British pair closed on 317.88 just behind Belarus on 319.71 and bronze went to Canada on 315.48.
Waterfield now turns his attentions to next month's World Championships in Barcelona.
