FORMER European Tour campaigner Scott Watson, pictured, made light of wet and blustery conditions to win the Hockley Pro-Am with a four-under-par 67.
The Dummer professional opened up with birdies at the first and third, then added another at the eighth. Watson bogeyed seven and nine but a run of three successive birdies from the 12th took him to four under par - one shot clear of Test Valley's Alastair Briggs.
Bruce Parker, James Ablett, Jon Barnes, Russell Tate and Rob Edwards shared third place after one-under-par rounds of 70.
Briggs had the consolation of taking the pro-am with his team of Patrick Dawson, Paul Spooner and John Misselbrook who carded a 14-under-par 128.
