Other 180s came from England international Paul Hogan (Eastleigh Railway Institute), Mark Harding (Kings Head) and Danny Ballard (Linden Tree).

Linton Hickman hit a 100 finish for Foresters A. The best of the season to date came from Steve Perren (Hedge End) with 156.

Maximums in the Eastleigh Town and Guests League have now reached 20.

Three more were nailed this week, one each by Andy Portelli, Steve Musson and Lionel Webster. Kevin Ede hit a league season's best finish of 126.

In the Waterside Charity League, Glenn Toms (Bridge Tavern) threw a maximum and Wayne McDermott (Malt & Hops) hit a confident 130 finish.

Pauline Speight (Snooker B) hit a 96 finish in the ladies' section.

Paul Dunn clawed his way back from 0-1 down against Chris Witts to claim the Lyndhurst Working Men's Club League singles crown with a storming final third leg to claim the match.

Starting the 301 leg on a double, Dunn hit tops and followed that with scores of 100 and 97 before checking out on 64 to win the match and the title.

Both players had been involved in tight tussles to reach the final, with Witts getting the better of Ken Rostigina.

Dunn had a tough start to his semi-final match with opponent Rupert Eldridge opening on 152, 45 and then checking out with 104.

Buster McGimpsey and Tony Staddon had the better of the pairs final as they beat Mike Abbott and Kevin Shotter 2-0.

Beaten semi-finalists in the pairs were Richard Cooper and Stuart Abrams and Brocks' duo Jimmy Huartson and Mick Heath.

Sixteen players remain to contest the next round of the individuals in the Cobweb Solutions Fareham Men's Winter League.
