IT'S not often you get the likes of Busted, Melanie C, Girls Aloud and Mis-Teeq joining forces for an afternoon of non-stop live music.
Not surprisingly, more than 50,000 pop fans flocked to Southampton Common last Sunday for the ninth annual Power in the Park - the free pop concert organised by Hampshire-based radio station 103.2 Power FM.
For four hours, we jumped, danced, waved posters and sang along to our favourite hits as a fantastic line-up of stars took to the specially constructed stage.
Defying the weather forecasters' predictions of rain, the sun beat down for the whole afternoon.
An unqualified success - despite the non-appearance of Dannii Minogue, forced to cry off after contracting a stomach bug - the line-up consisted of: Intenso Project, Maria Wilson, Melanie C, Jody Lei, Ashley Hamilton, Mis-Teeq, Tommi, DJ Sammy, Triple Eight, Jennifer Ellison, Lisa Scott-Lee, Michelle Branch, Billy Crawford, Kym Marsh, Blazin' Squad, Cheeky Girls, Girls Aloud and Busted.
Our photographers were there to capture the occasion in all its pop-tastic glory. See if you can see yourself in any of the crowd shots by going to www.thisissouthampton.co.uk/powerinthepark - where you can also order copies.
