ONE of the problems with being a child is that you often have no say over decisions that affect you.
Fifteen-year-old Kerry and her mother have moved to a council estate and Kerry hates it.
She also hates her mother's new boyfriend.
She meets a boy in a playground and asks him to help her do something about it, but finds herself plunged into a world of drugs, violence and love, finding refuge with a family who force her to challenge her preconceptions.
Holes in the Skin, a new play by Robert Holman, premieres at the Minerva Theatre on 13 June.
It is being shown as part of Chichester Festival Theatre's 2003 festival.
There will be a pre-show talk on June 16 and a post-show discussion on July 1.
The show contains nudity and explicit language.
