ANDOVER'S Tesco Metro was officially re-launched on Monday following a major refurbishment.
The store, which first opened its doors in 1995, has been completely revamped and upgraded.
On hand to re-open the store were long-serving members of staff.
Store manager Dave Lee presented each of them with a bottle of champagne.
The customer service desk has been updated, there is a more customer-friendly layout and the entrance to the store has been improved to ease congestion. Shoppers will also notice a significant change in the number of product ranges and numerous new lines have been included.
Mr Lee said: "All the staff have been fantastic, they have worked round the clock to ensure minimum disruption to customers.
"I would like to thank them all for all the extra work they have put in,.
"It has been a real team effort.
"I would also like to thank all of our customers for their continued loyalty and patience over the last few weeks."
