l For the first time in their 102-year history Hythe & Dibden will be entertaining a touring side from overseas this Sunday.
They take on the cricket Players Circle based in Ahemedabad, India, who arrived in England last week for a month's tour which will take them all over the country to play cricket.
Simon Wright Hythe's Sunday captain said: "Everyone at Hythe is intrigued by the fixture and hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves.
"The groundsmen have been told to produce a fast track just in case they have a few spin wizards in their side."
The tourists are looking to play as much cricket as possible while they are here. If anyone is interested in playing them, let Steve Chiverton know on 023 8066 0275 or 07810 523886 and he will pass on the message.
