THERE are only a limited number of tickets left for Van Morrison's pre-festival concert at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens, Tollard Royal, on July 11.
The evening concert is the official launch for Larmer Tree Festival 2003, which takes place the following week.
Starting the evening will be Bristol-born songstress Amy Wadge, who has recently been playing some support gigs for blues singer Eric Bibb.
Based in Wales, Amy has been hailed by the press as both a female David Gray and the new Joni Mitchell.
Next up will be Southampton-based Australian duo Derrin Nauendorf and David Downing, who made a sensational debut at last year's festival.
This likeable pair have become one of the most talked about acts on the acoustic roots scene with their intense, pared-down drum/guitar/vocals act.
Then Van the Man himself, pictured left, will take over with his superb band of musicians.
Tickets: 023 8071 1820.
