Three Royal Lymington YC boys have been selected to represent Great Britain at the Optimist World Championships in Gran Canaria in July.
Richard Mason (15), Greg Carey (14) and Robert Claridge (14) all competed against each other in the Volvo Musto Optimist Inland Championships, securing first to third places for the Royal Lymington Yacht Club.
Nearly three-hundred sailors competed at Grafham Water Sailing Club in May. The conditions were testing with a gusty Force 4-5 on both days.
Richard's win made a proud father of Chris Mason, himself a top sailor and member of the GBR Challenge team for the America's Cup.
