SEASONED fossil hunter Clare Taylor thought she had seen it all - until she discovered the psychic power of Uri Geller.
Clare, who has been uncovering dinosaur relics for years, challenged Geller to use his powers to find a fossil during his visit to the Island.
She was astounded when Uri managed to dig out a fossilised Iguanadon bone from the beach at Brook.
"It was amazing. The bone was buried beneath the sand under the water but he found it almost straight away," said Clare who uses many of her finds to make jewellery for sale by her company Boneidols.
"No one is more sceptical about these things than me but I was astounded at Uri's gift.
"I have a sixth sense for finding bones but I would not be able to do it to order and with people watching your every move like Uri did.
"There is no way it could have been a trick or a set-up."
Clare said Uri asked her to make his find into jewellery pieces for him and his wife.
Later, Uri showcased his talents before an appreciative full house at Medina Theatre, Newport.
