Poole Audi Hex-treme, one of Britain's most innovative and challenging sporting events, is heading for its third year.

Entry forms for this unique six-leg sporting event on Sunday, September 7 are now available.

Due to the outstanding success of the first two years, organisers have increased the number of spaces to 45 with the addition of a separately scored women's race.

At this one-day event, based across Poole's Sandbanks Beach, competitors will gain aggregate scores in the six disciplines of sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, swimming, cycling, and running.

Each leg is contested separately and carries a point score based on finishing position.

Offering a prize fund of £1,300, the level of competition is set to increase yet again this year with competitors hoping to knock reigning champion Richard Vail off the top position.

Entry forms are available from liz@lizleanpr.co.uk or can be downloaded from www.pooletourism.com.
