THE Rain or Shine Theatre Company will be performing an open air production of The Provoked Wife at Laverstoke Grange on 15 June to raise money for Community Action Nepal.
The charity, of which Overton GP Dr Rob Lorge is a trustee, is involved in the community development in the very poor middle hills of Nepal; building schools, health posts, irrigation systems and clean water supplies as well as funding teachers and nurses.
Grounds open at 6pm for picnics and the play starts at 7pm. For auction on the night will be a limited edition print of a painting of Everest by Graeme Lothian and signed by the artist, Sirs Edmund Hilary and Chris Bonington as well as Doug Scott, the first Briton to climb Everest.
Tickets are available from Overton Surgery, Overton Pharmacy or by calling 01256 896705.
