MORE than 500 Testway Housing tenants from across Test Valley enjoyed a family fun day in the grounds of the Romsey Rapids on Saturday.
Buses were laid on for people from Andover and the surrounding villages and masses of families went south for the day.
Keeping them entertained was a magician, a Punch and Judy show, space hopper races, a steel band, face painters, a hawk display, line dancing, ferret racing and giant snakes and ladders.
Testway's community involvement manager Sarah Durrans said: "It was a great day.
"So many people said they had a wonderful time.
"Testway is very much part of the community. The day was arranged for a number of reasons. It provided a low-cost opportunity for a good day out for our tenants, many of whom are on a tight budget.
"It was a way of giving something back to our tenants and getting our communities together. It also helps us build even better relationships with our tenants and that makes our work and their lives easier."
