ANDOVER's High Street was awash with colourful dragons performing a dance to herald the opening of a new Chinese restaurant in the town on Saturday.
Test Valley mayor Cllr Pat West and Sir George Young, MP joined staff and guests and cut the ribbon to officially open the Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant.
Sir George said: "This will add to the choice of good places to eat out in Andover and it will also help the top end of the High Street, which has some excellent shops that are sometimes overlooked.
"The formal opening was very impressive and we will certainly go back."
The restaurant, owned by the same company as Buddha restaurant in Colenzo Drive, Andover, has extended the menu to include a greater diversity of cuisines including Malay, Thai and Chinese food.
