Eastleigh charity worker Karen Jelly is a volunteer with a big heart.
She has been named as the area winner in a nationwide competition to find the British Heart Foundation's (BHF) star shop volunteer.
Karen was chosen following a search for exceptional volunteers who go that extra mile for charity.
Tetley Tea set up the search for the Tetley Champions as part of its ongoing work with the charity to encourage more people to volunteer.
Karen was nominated by her colleagues at the BHF shop in Eastleigh who wanted her to be recognised as a star volunteer because of her cheerful manner.
Sally Thornley, BHF area manager of the Eastleigh shop, said: "Volunteers like Karen are instrumental in ensuring the continued success of our shops."
Karen's prize was a £49 voucher from Red Letter Days for activities ranging from skydiving or Formula One motor racing to golf lessons, gardening days and tickets for concerts.
