SCHOOLCHILDREN were getting a lesson on making noise as part of an awareness campaign supported by Gosport Council.
Youngsters from across the borough are taking part in workshops run by the council's environmental health officers as part of Noise Action Day on Wednesday.
The aim of the sessions was to highlight the effect noise has on others and how loud noises can affect your own hearing.
Technical officer Claire Terry said: "We try to make it as fun as possible but the aim is to make the children a bit more aware of how the noise they make can annoy others. Hopefully they can take that message back to their families too."
