SOUTHAMPTON superstar Craig David will be hoping it is third time lucky after being nominated for two gongs at this year's Brit Awards.
The singer has failed to pick up any trophies despite being shortlisted nine times over the past two years in the star-studded event.
He is up for best British male and best British urban act at the 2003 ceremony, which takes place on February 20.
Ms Dynamite and The Streets head the shortlist for the Brit Awards, with the pair nominated for four prizes each at the event.
Sugababes, Pink and Will Young compete for three titles after the shortlist was unveiled at a party in London's legendary Abbey Road studios last night.
David is due to release his new single Hidden Agenda on Monday.
