SOUTHAMPTON superstar Craig David hopes he will be walking away with Best Male Artist at next month's Brits - to improve his luck with the ladies.
The 21-year-old singer, who has been linked with Puerto Rico-born actress Roselyn Sanchez and Columbian supermodel Sofia Vergara in recent weeks, has failed to pick up a single gong at the last two ceremonies.
He is up for British Urban Act and Best Male Artist at next month's glitzy ceremony.
But he has his eyes on just one of the trophies and hopes to unsurp Robbie Williams as the UK's music hero.
David, who grew up on Southampton's Holyrood Estate, told a radio station: "It would be amazing to pick up Best Male Artist, to take it from Robbie for just one year.
"He's done well on the ladies front and it seems to help if you've got Best Male Artist."
