IT was a little boy's bathtime that ended in tragedy.
Lewis Adams died when his mum turned her back as he splashed happily in a safety seat in the bath.
A Southampton inquest heard how damaged suction pads beneath the chair failed to stick to the bottom of the bath, causing the tot to fall face down into the water.
His distraught mum Kelly Young had left the youngster alone in the room for moments while she fetched a towel and a cup of coffee. She returned to find every parent's worst nightmare as 11-month-old Lewis lay lifeless.
Now safety experts are warning parents never to leave children alone in the bath.
