AN award-winning artistic director is about to move into Hampshire's Forest Forge Theatre to put the final touches to plans for a hectic autumn, winter and spring programme.
Sean Aita will be moving from the Northampton Theatre Trust to take over from Martin Wylde, who left the company in December.
He arrives at a time when the Ringwood based company's professional actors are preparing for their autumn production.
They will be taking the comedy Raising the Roof, which centres on chaotic fundraising for repairs to a village hall, out to towns and villages between September 11 and October 18.
Mr Aita said: "I am appealing to the community for help. We need stories about village halls which have had to raise money for repairs, health and safety legislation, a new roof and so on."
Forest Forge can be contacted on 01425 470188.
