Stokes Bay sailors David and Sam Lloyd won the Dart 18 National Championships at Netley Sailing Club.
The couple, who sail from Stokes Bay Sailing Club in Gosport, won the event by five points in their Team Typhoon boat.
That was a massive win for them as their home club is hosting the world championships later in the year which will attract 400 competitors from as far afield as South Africa, Canada and Kuwait.
Seventy Dart 18s competed over three days with conditions for the nine races varying from almost calm to force five.
For David Lloyd it was his first national title at the 17th attempt - he had previously finished second, third, fourth and fifth!
