VISITORS to a Fareham beauty spot can appreciate the scenery all the more thanks to a notice board provided by a local group.
The interpretation board giving people information of the wealth of wildlife and historical landmarks around Fareham Creek has now been officially unveiled by Fareham Society.
With help from a number of organisations, including Solent Protection Society and English Nature, it decided on the project after repeated attempts by developers to build around the beauty spot. Society secretary Brenda Clapperton said: "We thought it was important that visitors to Fareham Creek were aware of how special it was in terms of conservation value and to appreciate the historic sites around it."
