A GROUP of Southampton people are taking part in a mountainous challenge to raise money for charity.
Ben Goodridge from Gloucester Square put together the team of seven work colleagues, friends and family to sign up for the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of local organisation Leukaemia Busters.
Mr Goodridge, 27, and his team will be attempting to hike up and down Britain's three highest mountains - Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scaffel Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales - and drive the 600 miles in between, all in less that 24 hours.
The sponsored event takes place on June 21.
Mr Goodridge, who works part-time at the Zone fitness centre, has used his interest in health and fitness to support the charity in the past.
