DO YOU have the daftest dad in Hampshire?

Today the Daily Echo is launching a competition to find the daftest dad in the county ahead of Father's Day on Sunday, June 15.

We all know that dads are born with a silly streak in them but what is it that makes your dad particularly daft?

Is it the bad jokes he tells, the obsessive hobbies he has, or is he just plain silly?

Has your dad ever attempted a challenge too far and it has all ended up back firing on him?

Following the success of the Echo's Draw Your Mum competition for Mother's Day we want to pay dads their due.

If you want to nominate your dad as Hampshire's daftest, then send us a suitable photograph of him at his silliest.

We will publish all photographs sent to us and if our judges think your dad is the daftest then we surely have a befitting prize - a half day paintballing for him and four of his friends at Hot Shots in Berkshire.

Hot Shots will take your dad into the wilderness and the game is on!

From diving behind barricades, to charging the bridge, storming the bunker complex and raiding the tansporter, it could all happen.

The winning entry will also win a family ticket to the Odeon cinema.

Remember to tell us his name, age and address and why you think he is a daft dad. The competition is open to all but please put your name, address and contact number on the entry as well.

All entries must be received by Wednesday, June 11.

Entries should be sent to:
