Southampton's success this season has largely revolved around a small core of players from whom Gordon Strachan has selected his starting line-up each week.
However, as injuries and a need to protect key players for important FA Cup games became a factor in the season, the Saints boss was forced to stretch his squad to the limit.
Over the course of the season Strachan used a total of 25 players in the first team and here we assess and rate each player's contribution and look ahead to where they fit in for the 2003/04 campaign.
