Bob Aldous crossed the stormy Solent to win the Hampshire-supported Renowned Holidays Men's Singles title at Mill Rythe, Hayling Island.
Played over seven legs, Aldous blitzed legs of 21, 14 and 18 darts to open a 3-0 lead over Portsmouth's Doogie Ralph, who levelled with legs of 17,17 and 16.
Scores of 100 and 140 put Aldous in the driving seat for the seventh leg.
Dawn Standley (Norfolk) beat Sonia Duffey (Surrey) in the final of the ladies event. She had beaten Hampshire's Jo Sibley in the semi-final.
Paul Hogan and Paul Gibbs won the pairs' title 2-0 against Mick Cookman and Jason Crawley.
The host county's Laura Power and Surrey girl Chrissy Skehan lost to Norfolk pair Standley and Janice Butters in the women's doubles final.
Hampshire duo Ged Harrop and Bob Crawley joined forces with Surrey's Sonia Duffey to take the Mixed Triples trophy against local trio Paul Hogan, Angela Hogan and Paul Gibbs.
l Hampshire's Colin Monk and James Wade missed out on the second stage round-robin in the International League.
Monk lost all three of his matches 6-3 against Tony Eccles, Ritchie Davies and Jarkko Komula.
Wade crashed 6-1 to Austrian-born Norwegian Robert Wagner and 6-2 to England captain Martin Adams. He beat Albertino Essers 6-3, but that was not enough to see him into the second stage.
l Phil Taylor's six-month losing streak ended with victory at the Golden Harvest North American Cup over Hampshire's Andy Jenkins.
Reigning PDC World Champion and former Embassy champion John Part came through against Lionel Sams and Mark Walsh to meet Taylor in the semi-finals.
Jenkins had beaten Texan Roger Carter and Essex man Wayne Mardle to face John Lowe in the second semi.

l Hampshire pair Ian Eames and Lee Padwick enjoyed a successful visit to Canada as they seek to complete their round-the-world-in-a-year trip.
Hayling Islander Eames won 11 from 18 in the two-day round robin phase and was seeded 106th in the final 256.
Basingstoke's Lee Padwick won 10 from 18 and was seeded 136th and was one of the few players to relieve Taylor of a leg in the round robin phase.
Padwick lost the last 256 match to a Belgian but Eames progressed to the last 128 where he met Jamie Harvey. A 156 shot won him the first set but missed doubles cost him a two-set lead and Jamie went on to win 3-1
Lyndhurst WMC
Poachers are guaranteed at least one player in the singles final on June 6. Ken Rostagina (Brocks FC) joins Poachers trio Rupert Eldridge, Pete Dunn and Chris Witts in the semis.
Bishop's Waltham Men's Winter League
Steve Perren lost in the final of the House Champion event to Dave Lauranet (Bishops Waltham SC) but won the John Goode trophy against P Pritchard (Barleycorn).
Gordon Williams (Wheatsheaf A) beat Kev Vidler (Bold Forester) to win the Ron Talman Shield.
Locks Heath beat Park Gate British Legion to win the Les White (Four's) competition final with the winning quartet B Jarvis, P Jarvis, C Witt and Gordon Haynes. Gordon Williams and Tony Whitcher (Wheatsheaf) won the pairs, beating Kevin Vidler and Simon Gardner in the final.
Craig Harrington took part in the House Champion event and recorded an 11-dart leg.
Eastleigh Town & Guests League
Steve Ballard and Brian Laws, both of Obelisk, hit 180s as did Tony Whitcher (Sam's).
Dale Grove (Bitterne Park Club) hit a 121 finish and there was a 120 from A Stevens (Eastleigh WMC).
Bitterne Park Hotel Invitation League
A men's section is about to begin and officials are looking for extra teams, who must have a minimum of six players.

Mark Bear completed the season's league fixtures with a 101 finish for Holy Family in a 5-4 win over Osborne A. Mike Noyce (Osborne A) hit a maximum.
