Vantage points along Southampton Water are expected to be packed with spectators when superliners Adonia and Oceana make a dramatic double departure from port tomorrow.
Southampton's White Sisters are due to leave their berths in Southamp-ton's Western Docks at 5pm and then travel down in formation to the eastern Solent.
The 77,499-ton vessels were officially named earlier this week in a spectacular dockside ceremony performed by the Princess Royal and her daughter, Zara Phillips.
Southampton's Mayflower Park and Town Quay together with Weston Shore will be popular spots to see the departures together with Hythe Marina and Calshot.
Although both ships are now based in Southampton, they will only be rarely seen together again as their cruise schedules will keep them apart.
Adonia will be leaving for a 12-night cruise to the Mediterranean while Oceana is departing for a seven-night voyage to Spain, Portugal, France and Guernsey.
