SOUTHAMPTON Guildhall was buzzing with job seekers hunting out the career of their dreams at the Southern Daily Echo Job Scene Roadshow.
Hundreds of visitors of all ages were looking for jobs, long-term careers, training opportunities and advice.
Many left with a job, an interview or vital information to help them get on the career ladder.
The show had exhibitions from national and local companies seeking new talent.
Exhibitors were promoting a wide range of job opportunities suitable for people of all ages, background, qualifications or previous experience.
Among those on show were Barclays bank, British Gas, Inland Revenue, WestQuay and, of course, the Daily Echo.
Job hunters had a chance to get their CVs checked by experts, browse opportunities or even have a screen test with Southampton TV.
Those interested in starting their new company also had the chance to take advice from a business start-up clinic.
The roadshow, which ran all day yesterday, is part of a series of events taking place in major towns throughout the UK.
Event organiser Adam Leaver said: "It's gone really well and there has been a nice turnout.
"We have everything from banks to casinos through to the NHS. It's very much a success."
