VITACRESS Salads welcomed more than 100 people to its open day held at Lower Link Farm in St Mary Bourne.
Among those attending the event were Test Valley Mayor Cllr Pat West and her consort Peter and the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Gerry Traynor.
Despite the weather, many groups of visitors enjoyed a guided tour around the farm, as well as visiting the packhouse.
Residents were shown the 'ingredients' to Vitacress' success and were able to view the company's future plans to rationalise their operations over the coming five years.
The plans are to be submitted to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council shortly.
