POLICE in south Wiltshire are issuing a warning after a spate of crimes targeting industrial lock-ups and small shops or post offices.
The first crime involves a group targeting lock-ups on industrial sites, particularly those without alarms. The group is raiding the ones containing computer or digital camera equipment.
The second involves small shops and post offices targeted by a group of young men who distract staff before asking to change a note - often a £20 note. When the till is open they either confuse the assistant into giving out too much money or simply grab money.
